Job Details - VP of Marketing

You will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing a comprehensive digital, product, and traditional marketing strategy to support our business. The ideal candidate has extensive marketing experience (digital/social/product), has led marketing teams, has worked in the finance industry (preferably fintech), understands technology, and is willing to do the “dirty work”. He or she must also be proficient in data analysis, content creation, strategy and have a good understanding of product marketing, financial services, and the crypto and blockchain space.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing, managing, and executing community, content, product, and multimedia marketing strategy
  • Develop marketing plans that drive relationships, adoption, scale, and revenue
  • Coming up with new ideas and ways to market the company and products
  • Assist in Building a thriving marketing department
  • Become an expert on our business, product, and customer base to effectively develop compelling content and programs across digital channels including but not limited to social media
  • Continuously research, identify and evaluate new marketing ideas, strategies, leads, prospects, and opportunities
  • Identify, create, and manage social partnerships and collaborations
  • Evaluate new tools, technology, platforms, and vendors, and provide subject matter expertise, learning anything necessary to maximize the strategic use of all media
  • Continuously perform extensive market research and data analysis to create and maintain an efficient marketing strategy in sync with the business model
  • Collaborate with the executive team, other departments, and technical staff to create unique strategic solutions
  • Originate and lead projects relating to search engine optimization, website updates and social media platforms
  • Provide insights on the general market and present them to the leadership team
  • Create, fully manage, and execute all social media marketing channels and campaigns
  • Publish original high-quality content on social platforms
  • Focus on Increasing social media engagement, channel growth, and traffic from social channels
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing and assessing digital and social media traffic and engagement
  • Intelligently drive engagement via strategies related to comments, hashtags, DMs.
  • Identify and test new channels, content, and strategies that drive brand growth and improve marketing processes
  • Contribute to the preparation of pitches, presentations, and background materials in compliance with brand guidelines and any associated regulations
  • Promote Prometheum’s brand and build awareness
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field required
  • Master’s degree in marketing preferred
  • Experience working in finance or fintech preferred
  • Experience marketing a digital product or platform preferred
  • A high-level understanding of marketing strategies and tactics
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, management, and organizational skills
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects to timely and accurate completion
  • Solution-focused with the ability to initiate and follow-through
  • Passionate about media developments and strategies
  • Minimum 8-10 years of marketing (social, digital, traditional, guerilla and etc.)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing data analysis
  • An understanding of the blockchain industry
  • Must have experience coordinating marketing, PR and communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Must have experience building, managing and executing strategic marketing plans in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have experience leading marketing efforts through the use of social, digital and traditional media platforms
  • Must have experience and a deep understanding of data analytics, using and creating different marketing platforms, identifying key metrics, track relevant community metrics
  • Must be willing to work on all aspects of marketing, including the creation of social media, data analytics, and content creation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Slack, G Suite, Trello, Google Analytics
  • Must have marketing experience with social platforms such as Linkedin, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Medium and others.
  • Experience creating original text, images, and video content
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, blog, channel, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Excellent strategic, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Hard working with a desire to learn new things
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • A strong entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit with a drive to work at a consistently high level
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Excellent team player who is also able to work without supervision
  • A strong understanding of the U.S. financial markets
  • Experience in organizing and participating in marketing events
  • Experience in building a community in order to boost brand awareness
