Head of Business Development

Initially this role will be focused on building new partnerships and driving interest in our ATS Platform as well as developing, executing, and managing a comprehensive strategy to support our business development needs. The ideal candidate has extensive business development experience, has led teams, has worked in the finance industry , understands financial and blockchain technology, and is willing to be hands-on daily. He or she must also have a good understanding of the digital asset and blockchain space.

  • Develop, execute and manage the partnership strategy with executives that will help to achieve Prometheum’s business objectives.
  • Create and manage strong relationships with partners who will help drive growth and broader adoption of Prometheum’s technology.
  • Lead high impact cross-functional partnership initiatives and strategic solutions, working with marketing, tech, compliance, and legal.
  • Strategically conduct and manage outreach campaigns and initiatives to generate qualified leads and prospects.
  • Quickly develop extensive expertise and assume responsibility for numerous aspects of Prometheum’s partnerships and business development initiatives.
  • Create and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Represent Prometheum at industry events and conferences.
  • Promote Prometheum’s brand and build awareness and consideration in the marketplace.
  • Research, identify and evaluate leads/prospects and continuously searching for and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Oversee and execute the preparation of pitches, presentations, and background materials in compliance with brand guidelines and any associated regulations.
  • Lead sales pitches and deliver product demos to all seniority levels within a potential partner organization.
  • Develop offers and proposals for partners.
  • Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team.
  • Lead strategic business development projects, partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience.
  • Experience working in finance, fintech and blockchain required.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, management, and organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects to timely and accurate completion.
  • Solution-focused with the ability to initiate and follow-through.
  • An understanding of the blockchain industry and relevant technology.
  • Excellent strategic, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Hard working with a desire to learn new things.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • A strong entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit with a drive to work at a consistently high level.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry.
  • Excellent team player who is also able to work without supervision.
  • A strong understanding of the U.S. financial markets.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $275,000
